At Oak Tree Day Nursery, we believe a healthy meal is an important part of your child's day, all of our daily sessions provide a healthy and balanced meal giving you reassurance that when you leave your child with us they will be given a healthy and nutritious meal. All of our children are provided with the same meal(unless religious or dietry needs have been agreed) and sit down together to enjoy it as a social occasion giving them the chance to discus and enjoy the food together. This is especially beneficial for the older children in the preschool who are encouraged to serve their own vegetables and tidy items, being supervised along the way.
All of our food is prepared on site daily by our experienced cook. Our cook has more than 10 years experience working in an Early Years setting cooking for children and continues to keep up to date with Food and Hygiene requirements and healthy lifestyles.
